Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of Crosscast, operated by Eschaton Labs ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The Service

Crosscast publishes video content you provide to social media accounts you connect, on schedules you set, and reports analytics those platforms make available. We are an authorized intermediary acting on your instructions — the content and the accounts remain yours.

2. Your responsibilities

  • You must own or have rights to the content you publish through the Service.
  • You must have authority over every platform account you connect.
  • Your use must comply with each platform's own terms — TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, Instagram/Meta's Platform Terms, and YouTube's Terms of Service — as well as applicable law.
  • You are responsible for what you publish. We don't review your content.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • publish content that is illegal, infringing, or violates platform rules;
  • engage in spam, artificial engagement, or coordinated inauthentic behavior;
  • connect accounts you don't control, or resell access without a written agreement with us;
  • probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Platform relationships

The platforms' APIs impose their own limits (posting quotas, audit requirements, token lifetimes). We surface these honestly in the product but can't control them; features that depend on platform grants (for example TikTok direct publishing) may vary by account and change when the platforms change.

5. Fees

The Service is currently free while in beta. When paid plans begin, we'll give at least 30 days' notice; continued use of paid features after that requires a subscription. Prices are posted on the pricing page.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to your content. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and transmit it to the platforms you target. We claim no ownership and don't use it for anything else.

7. Termination

You can delete your workspace at any time, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uninterrupted operation, platform API availability, or that any post will publish at the exact scheduled second (we aim within one minute). To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
